FAQs

How can I purchase an item?

Although I do post photos of items on my Instagram, the earthybird shop (this website) is the only place to make a verified purchase.  Once you’ve browsed the various categories and found something you like, click “Add to Bag” and follow the steps from there!  If you happen to be ordering a Hammered Band (the only customizable item), please pay close attention to the listing and make use of the note/instructions feature during Checkout.

How often do you restock your shop?

Every item that’s listed on earthybird is made entirely by hand.  At the end of the day, I’m just one human who works entirely out of passion.  I work slowly, producing in small quantities, and I’ll always operate that way.  Ordering materials, creating the products, and ultimately listing them is an incredibly rewarding process, but also very time consuming.  If it’s running low, the shop’s stock will be reloaded as soon as possible – and I always take into account what’s popular as I craft the upcoming batch of goods.  If you’re especially keen not to miss out on something, keep an eye on my Instagram page.  I’ll typically post on there before I do a shop update.

The piece I had my eye on is sold out – will you be making more?

Short answer: Probably.  Long answer: If something you’ve been watching is now out of stock, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me via the website’s Contact page.  I’d love to hear from you, and especially about products you’re interested in.  That helps guide me moving forward!

Do you take custom orders?

At this time, I’m currently unable to accommodate custom orders.  That being said, if there’s something you’d like to see on the site that I haven’t tried yet, please don’t hesitate to contact me!  Expanding my horizons is part of what makes this such a fun project, and I always love hearing requests that expose me to new things.

I don’t know my ring size – how can I find out?

A quick stop at any local jeweler is the most accurate way to determine your ring size.  Another option (that works especially well if you’re gifting the ring to someone else) is to bring your jeweler a ring that you know fits the person well.  They’ll take a quick measurement that you can include with your order.

What shipping service do you use?

All orders will be securely packaged, insured to their full value, and shipped through Canada Post.  Costs may vary depending on location and will be individually processed at Checkout.  If your item is lost or damaged during shipping, please contact me as soon as possible so I can file a claim on your behalf.

* ALL ORDERS SHIPPED OUTSIDE OF CANADA are subject to any import fees, duty, taxes, and/or brokerage fees of the receiving country.  As the seller, I cannot predict nor am I responsible for any of the above charges your order may incur.

What is your return policy?

I do gladly accept both returns and cancellations.  For returns, please be sure to contact me within 2 days of your item’s delivery.  I also ask that you ship the item back within 7 days of original delivery.  Buyers are always responsible for any return shipping costs, as well as any potential damage costs that may occur during the return shipment.  If you wish to cancel an order, I ask that you contact me with your request within 24 hours of the original purchase.
